A New Andhra Rises

Connecting Andhra Pradesh
to the World

Gateway of the East

Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport (Vizag) at Bhogapuram marks a defining moment for Andhra Pradesh. A region with centuries of maritime heritage and growing economic ambition now has the aviation infrastructure to support its future.

Inspired by the graceful Parava Meenu (flying fish) of the Andhra coast, the terminal's iconic architecture reflects the spirit of the Bay of Bengal and North Coastal Andhra. Traditional cultural influences are thoughtfully combined with contemporary design and resilient engineering to create a distinctive, future-ready airport that welcomes passengers with a strong sense of place.

Spanning 793 acres on the Andhra coast, the airport is designed as the centrepiece of a larger regional vision that integrates aviation, commerce, education, and sustainability.
